Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Matua N. Lineham, Mr M. King, Ms G. Bloomfield.
This course covers the theory of business management in a range of business contexts. A practical application is experienced by forming and running a company through the Young Enterprise Scheme and it is hoped that students will create a business that can be continued outside of school at the end of the year or on sold to someone else to continue. PTT Honey is a previously established YES Business that students could decide to continue to operate.
Recommended Prior Learning
Level 2 Business Studies, or direct consultation with Mr King.
Students must be committed to working as part of a team over the entire year.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
$35 Young Enterprise Registration and a half-day director training in Term 1

All internal assessments require your active participation in a business so commitment for the whole year is required.Credit Information
