10LIT - Literacy Boost

This is a specialist course for students who need support with strategies for developing their literacy skills. Learning will focus on specific skills that will support students to access their learning and confidently engage in all literacy-rich learning. 

Students will be offered a place in this course based on the evidence of skills from their Year 9 English classes, particularly common assessments. Often students with diagnosed learning differences for whom reading and writing are a challenge benefit greatly from this course.
