Mathematics
The Mathematics Department at Nayland College is a dedicated group of Mathematicians with a wealth of knowledge and experience in delivering the NZ Mathematics Curriculum to a diverse group of learners.
From Core Mathematics in Years 9 and 10, building on the fundamentals from Primary and Intermediate, through to Scholarship in Calculus and Statistics, we cater for a large range of options for all of our students.
Our courses cover everything from basic maths skills for everyday life through to preparing students for further study at tertiary level. As a department, we recognise the importance of Mathematics and Numeracy in society as a whole and enjoy sharing our passion, creativity, and enthusiasm for our subject.
