10MED - Media Studies

Media Studies focuses on the analysis, creation, and enjoyment of media in Aotearoa and the world. Particular focus is given to how media is produced to construct and shape messages about individuals and society in film and television.

This module is ideal for students with an interest in film making and media production, and who want to think critically about the media they consume. Students will work individually and collaboratively to plan, script, film and edit a short film. The emphasis is on practical hands-on learning and students creating engaging and entertaining content.
