Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Matua M. Penney.
This course focuses on different aspects of the Māori Arts (Māori Performing Arts, Mau Rākau, Taonga Pangoro). It can be adapted to suit individual student strengths and uses standards that are assessed at all levels through to excellence with 18 credits available to each student.
Recommended Prior Learning
Interest in Kapa Haka and Tikanga Māori. Basic knowledge of Te Reo Māori would be of benefit.
