1SCI - Level 1 Science
Course Description
Level 1 Science covers a broad range of skills and content.
Everyone should have a basic understanding of Science to make decisions on everyday issues like vaccination, health and disease, and the environment. Students learn about chemical reactions, genetics, forces and energy, and aspects of earth and space, as well as skills to investigate the world, and make sense of it.
High achievement sets students up for senior science studies (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth & Marine).
Pathway
In general, success in Level 1 Science is required for further study in the Level 2 and 3 sciences such as Chemistry, Biology, Earth & Marine, and Physics.f you are interested in a career in health services or engineering.
