3DES - Level 3 Design Art

Course Description

Visual communication will be explored with an emphasis on contemporary design. Students will work on individual projects based on personal interests. They can focus on graphic design or illustrating a story.  The majority of the work is created using the Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, Indesign or Illustrator). All students get a subscription to the suite for the year.

Successful completion of Level 2 Design Art.

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

Surface tablets or Wacom pen tablets are an advantage for students doing illustration for graphic novels, comics, game concepts.
