10TEM - Technology Metal

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr H. Jones.


Students learn basic engineering skills by making a range of small outcomes. They will learn how to use specialist equipment and to work collaboratively with others. 

In their final project, students will follow a design process to develop and make a prototype that meets an identified need or opportunity.  They will test their prototypes in situ for suitability and performance. 

Please note, this course has a fee for take home projects. 

Course Overview

Term 1
Skill development - making a range of small projects to learn techniques and processes used in Engineering.

Term 2
Students design and develop their own outcomes (prototype)
