Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr H. Jones.
Design and development of innovative products that meet real needs is the main focus of this course. Students will develop skills and knowledge by working with a variety of materials, equipment and processes and producing two technology outcomes. Students will learn to be innovative, reflective and critical in designing new products to benefit people.
Course Overview
Term 1
Students develop a small laser cut product.
Term 2
Students design and develop their own conceptual designs.
Term 3
Students develop their own prototypes
Recommended Prior Learning
12 Level 2 Technology credits.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
$30 materials for take home projects. Students may need to bring additional materials as required for their individual projects.
