Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr H. McLellan.
This module may investigate different organs in our body, medical conditions and diseases, how the environment is shaped through DNA and genetics and how chemistry is used to understand our environment.
Students will investigate various aspects of human health, not limited to but possibly including:
- Human anatomy and organs e.g. heart, lungs, sensory organs, brain
- Environmental chemistry
- Biochemistry
- Toxicology
- Genetics
- Diseases and Medicine
Note: Students can select Human and Environmental Sciences OR Planet Earth and its History (not both) at Year 10.
