3ESL - Level 3 English as a Second Language
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mrs S. Hall.
This course focuses on improving reading and writing skills and supports students to achieve in their other subjects. The course also offers English Language (EL) credits at Levels 2 and 3 which contribute to NCEA Level 2 and 3 certificates. Standards are selected to suit individual students.
Recommended Prior Learning
Intermediate level of English (ELLP Stage 2-3).
Assessment Information
Students have the opportunity to gain up to 30 credits if they are prepared to work hard. On average most gain between 15-20 credits.Credit Information
