1ESL - Level 1 English as a Second Language
1ESL Course Description Recommended Prior LearningBeginners level of English.
This course offers students basic communication skills in order to be able to operate in an English speaking environment. Topics support students' school and home life and also help them achieve in other subject areas. Students work at ELLP Foundation Stage moving towards Stage 1. A selection of English Language level 1 credits are available.

Assessment Information
Students have the opportunity to gain up to 35 credits but most will gain 15-25 credits. As each course is tailored to the student if they are willing and capable of gaining additional credits then they will be given the opportunity to gain up to 35 credits.
