9SOR - School of Rock
9SOR Course Description Recommended Prior LearningStudents choosing this course would benefit from experience playing guitar, bass, drums, keyboards or singing but this is not essential.
Students with other instrumental experience may also consider this course.
Students will collaborate with their classmates to form a band and rock out! Alongside the chance to perform in a group, students will learn the songwriting skills needed to write the next big hit, and they will explore how music technology can be used to record and release their own music.
Students will also develop the skills needed to set up a live performance using mixing desks, PA systems, amplifiers, and everything else needed to get out there and play.
