Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr H. McLellan.
Biology is the study of life and the interaction between living organisms. Students learn what makes living things tick, from the parts of a cell to whole ecosystems, and how they change through time.
Specifically, this course focuses on cell function, genetic variation and evolution, practical investigation skills, sustainability in our community, and plant and animal adaptations. It is recommended preparation for Level 3 Biology.
Recommended Prior Learning
STRONGLY recommended is 15 credits in Level 1 Science.
A high standard of writing is required for any level of success.
