2TEX - Level 2 Technology Textiles
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mrs C. Laufkotter.
Students will develop advanced skills and knowledge in design sketching, pattern development and construction techniques. These skills will enable students to follow a design process to create innovative textile outcomes to meet real needs.
Recommended Prior Learning
Level 1 Technology Textiles, or by discussion with the teacher in charge.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Students will need to provide materials for take home projects they design. Visual diary for design sketching.

Students will complete a selection or all of the above assessments during the course of the year. There are unit standards options for alternative assessment which can be negotiated on an individual basis.Credit Information
You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
