2PED - Level 2 Physical Education
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr B. Geddes.
Covers practical and theoretical components of physical activity. Practicals include volleyball, lacrosse, korfball, snow skiing/boarding, fitness and sports coaching. Theory topics include principles and methods of training, how we learn skills, fitness and health, anatomy, response to exercise and science applied to sport.
Recommended Prior Learning
Positive levels of participation, social responsibility and achievement in Year 11 Physical Education.
It is possible to do this course without previous experience in year 11 PE. A conversation with the HOLA is required.
