2DES - Level 2 Design Art
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Ms D. Maskill.
This is a practical study of graphic design using Adobe Photoshop and art-based processes.
Students explore a range of techniques and choose a project for their 2-panel folio. Processes can include
- photo manipulation
- drawing
- model making
- digital illustration for graphic novels, magazines and posters.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Surface tablets or Wacom pen tablets are an advantage for students doing illustration for graphic novels, comics, game concepts.

You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
