Course Description

In 1968 an astronaut captured the famous ‘Earthrise’ photograph while in lunar orbit. This moment captured the beauty but also the fragility of our planet, inspiring awe and fostering environmental awareness. This is a profound reminder of our unique home in a vast universe, that we are living on “Spaceship Earth.” This topic focuses on our earth’s ecosystems, environments, sustainability and kaitiakitanga, around the world and in Aotearoa/New Zealand.
