Students must be committed to working in a team to complete this course.


This course develops the knowledge and skills required to manage a business by forming, planning, marketing and running a business through two selling cycles. It teaches students how to work with others, deal with conflict and work in a team to achieve common goals and other real life skills.

Assessment Information

Assessments require you to work in a company and with others and you must be committed to the class for the full year.

Pathway

3ACC - Level 3 Accounting, 3BUS - Level 3 Business Studies, 3ECO - Level 3 Economics

Managing your own business and/or having a better understanding of how a business operates, functions and deals with internal and external factors that affect a business' success.


Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

Start-up capital will be required by each student to buy shares in the newly formed company/companies. This typically ranges from $25 -$50. It is hoped that students will recieve this back upon successful completion of the course and if the individual companys make a profit.
