2CHE - Level 2 Chemistry
2CHE Course Description Recommended Prior Learning16 credits from 1A Science required, merit in AS90944 is highly recommended.
An introduction to basic chemical principles by studying the reactions involved with solutions, acids and bases, and organic substances. Level 2 Chemistry is a pre-requisite for many courses and careers such as health science and engineering.
Of the three external standards listed, only two will be assessed. Students may choose individually to prepare for the third external standard outside of class time.
