The music course will examine a wide range of music. It will examine musical contexts (historical, social etc) and how this influences our responses as listeners, composers and performers. Students might study genres of music such as film music, traditional orchestral music, jazz or musical theater and use the knowledge gained to enhance the quality of their solo and group performance, composition and analysis.
