Previous experience with textiles or product development would be an advantage, but not required.
Students begin by developing or extending their skills and knowledge in design sketching, basic pattern alteration and construction, screen-printing and other applied design methods. These skills enable students to use a design process to create innovative textile outcomes to meet real-life needs and opportunities.
NCEA Level 1 Courses, Technology
Students will complete two main projects which generate evidence towards a third piece of work for external assessment.
